The wastewater project is a joint effort between the Town of Sellersburg and the Town of Borden, overseen by the project leaders Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz, the engineering firm hired for the planning of the wastewater cooporative.
Starlight Businesses
Bringing in 600,000 tourists a year while supporting 100's of jobs, this regional sewer system would direct flow to Borden then ultimately Sellersburg.
Sellersburg
This regional project will solve long standing sewer main capacity and odor issues that have impacted 75% of the Town’s collections system for the past 15 years.
Borden
Plans for the expansion of Borden Community Park and the development of Muddy Fork Reservoir will benefit from the regional sewer system.
Clark County
The Clark County Commissioners have allocated $1 million to Borden and $300,000 to Sellersburg from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds to support the project.
